Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor for our Miami property. The role focuses on reconciling cashier transactions and ensuring accuracy of guest bills and city ledger activity.

You will also support guest services, check-ins/outs, and reservations as needed. You will prepare and distribute daily and monthly reports, audit front desk and F&B cashier activity, and maintain confidentiality while delivering attentive service with a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Guest Service Experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Effective verbal and written communication with employees and guests.
• Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile hotel cashier transactions and review reports.
• Assist with check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest services.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports.
• Ensure accuracy of numbers reported and input financial data into systems.
• Respond to governmental inquiries and handle guest requests.
