Job summary

The Night Auditor at Sonesta International Hotels balances all hotel income and expenses for the 24-hour operating period while serving as a Guest Service Agent on the overnight front desk. The role acts as the hotel system liaison during night hours, calling in tickets with Opera, SynXis, or support as needed.

Responsibilities include auditing room, F&B, and telephone revenues, preparing daily reports, processing cash and card transactions, and assisting with reservations and guest services

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel experience preferred.
• Experience in the extended stay industry preferred.
• Fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera systems.
• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Balance and audit room and related revenues daily.
• Prepare and transmit daily management reports with supporting documentation.
• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly and provide courteous service.
• Process cash and credit card transactions per procedures.
• May book reservations and upsell rooms to maximize revenue.
