Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation seeks a Night Auditor to balance all hotel income and expenses for each 24-hour period while acting as a guest service agent overnight. You will liaise with Opera, SynXis, and system support to resolve issues, and prepare daily reports.

Responsibilities include front desk coverage, cash handling, breakfast setup, and reservations support in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel experience preferred.
• Extended stay experience preferred.
• Fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• MS Office and Opera systems experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ServSafe and possibly TIPS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Balance and audit room revenue, food & beverage revenue, and telephone revenue; prepare reports.
• Balance and audit room tax charges, cashier reports, and guest house accounts.
• Prepare daily management reporting packs for GM and leadership.
• Set up breakfast service and assist with laundry tasks.
• Register guests, issue keys, and provide information on services.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
• Answer phones promptly and upsell rooms where possible.
• Assist in reservations for individuals or groups and manage changes.
