Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Bethesda is seeking a Night Auditor to join the Front Office team. Audit, balance and report on hotel revenue sources, while providing accurate information to arriving and departing guests. The role includes check-in/checkout support and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Accounting background preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate personal computer, cash register and calculator.
• Telephone and guest relations etiquette and skills.
• Moderate hearing and good vision for reading daily reports and screens.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance and report on hotel outlets and front desk cash operations to ensure accuracy.
• Post and report on room charges, deposits and taxes; monitor deposits and balances.
• Run night audit final and ensure revenues are in balance nightly.
• Greet and check-in guests; assist with check-out and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Respond to reservations, hotel information and guest concerns in a professional manner.
