Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay - Downtown is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure financial controls and hotel standards are maintained. You will coordinate with security and housekeeping to deliver quality service to guests and prepare daily revenue reports.

The role requires basic math skills, 10-key input, and solid communication. Night shifts and regular attendance are required, with comprehensive benefits offered by HEI Hotels and Resorts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform accurate 10-key calculations.
• Ability to handle guest and associate concerns in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to input information into a moderately complex computer system accurately and quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Reports by auditing POS tapes and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, tips, and settlements.
• Run audit reports/journals from front office system, POS, and computer; correct and adjust as needed.
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports (Guest Ledger Summary, Daily Restaurant Summary).
• Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly and reset systems for next day operations.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
