Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor for Grand Hyatt Nashville to ensure accurate revenue allocation and daily reconciliation across departments. You will serve as a Guest Service representative and Manager on Duty during overnight hours, balancing cash, preparing the front office for the next shift, and handling PBX duties.

The role requires a HS Diploma or equivalent and preferred guest service or front desk experience, with a background check completed prior to employment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Guest Service or Front Desk hospitality experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all audit procedures in accordance with hotel and company standards on a daily basis.
• Verify and confirm the status of wake-up call requests, ensuring proper handling and follow-up.
• Balance and reconcile all cash receipts and transactions during the audit shift, and ensure deposits are made promptly.
• Prepare the front office for the upcoming shift, resetting systems and operations for the day’s business.
• Serve as a Guest Service representative and act as Manager on Duty during overnight hours, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Function as PBX operator during the audit shift, managing communication duties effectively.
• Participate in all front office meetings with an active and collaborative approach.
• Engage in training and cross-training opportunities, continually enhancing skill sets.
• Proactively greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Other duties as assigned by the leader
