Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Roseville, CA seeks a Night Auditor to reconcile cashier transactions, review reports, and ensure guest billing accuracy. Duties include check-in/out support, reservations, and nightly balance checks to maintain city ledger integrity.

You will also prepare daily and monthly reports and assist with financial audits. The role requires front desk experience, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work late shifts with a professional, guest-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Guest Service Experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Late/Overnight shift. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling hotel cashier transactions and reviewing management reports.
• Ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
• Perform guest service duties including check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Audit and reconcile front desk, F&B cashiers, and credit cards timely.
• Prepare daily and month-end reports and communicate deviations to management.
• Input and update financial data into corporate systems and networks.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance as required.
• Respond to governmental inquiries and handle guest requests.
• Cross-train in other hotel-related areas when needed.
• Keep management informed of unusual operational or financial events.
