Job summary

The Westin Chicago North Shore is seeking a Night Auditor to manage front desk operations, registration, checkout and cashiering, while reconciling and posting daily revenue activity. You will greet guests, verify reservations, handle payments, and ensure accurate daily reporting across departments.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, leadership and customer service skills, with attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with various hotel teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
• Must have excellent customer relations skills and leadership capability.
• Must be detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and register them, verify reservations and payment information.
• Accept payment at registration and checkout; maintain a house bank and report receipts daily.
• Issue keys and control access to safety deposit boxes; post miscellaneous charges.
• Review day’s arrivals, VIPs and special requests to ensure pre-registration and smooth handoffs.
• Ensure daily reports and forms are completed; reconcile daily front desk activity.
• Run trial balance and post rooms; run accounts receivable reports as required.
• Provide next-day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales and Executive Office.
