Dreamscape Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to balance nightly revenue and expenses, perform front desk duties during overnight hours, and ensure a smooth hotel operation while delivering courteous guest service.

This role counts on accurate cash handling, posting of transactions, generating daily reports, coordinating with the next shift, and maintaining the front desk area. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience in customer service; accounting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of hotel transactions, ensuring that all financials are accurately balanced.
• Check guests in and out, ensuring proper room assignments and handling guest requests efficiently.
• Handle all guest inquiries, providing information about the hotel, its services, and the local area.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to the management team.
• Monitor the security of the hotel during the night, responding to any emergencies or disturbances.
• Process all financial transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and ensuring proper posting to guest accounts.
• Ensure proper communication with the next shift and management team, noting any issues or important information.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Provide wake-up calls and perform other guest services as needed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of hotel equipment and systems, escalating issues to the appropriate department as necessary.
