Job summary

The LINE DC in Washington, DC is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Night Auditor who resides in Ward 1. If hired, you may receive a Ward 1 Resident Bonus of $300.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks with autonomy in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate billing while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Three years related hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential for guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact.
• Establish and maintain communications with colleagues and other departments.
• Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism; resolve inquiries and requests.
• Check in guests and ensure correct room type and rate.
• Settle guest bills accurately.
• Maintain balanced cash bank and handle currency exchange as needed.
• Reconcile all transactions at shift close.

The Role...

We are seeking a dynamic Front Desk Night Auditor to join our team who also resides in the Washington DC Ward 1 Area. If hired, be prepared to receive a Ward 1 Resident Bonus of $300*.

A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit. This is a fast-moving business, so we are looking for the right individual to be autonomous and be able to pick up multiple tasks and projects at once.

Our culture is pacey but supportive, so you must be able to work in synergy with your peers and the different departments around you. Being an active communicator who is a team player and detail-oriented is a must to ensure a uniquely brilliant service experience for our guests.

Essential Functions:

1. Greet every guest promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact
2. Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
3. Handle all guest interactions, in person and over the phone, with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible, resolve customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, inhouse events, directions, etc.
4. Check in guests, assure that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged.
5. Settle guest bills accurately
6. Maintain a balanced bank assigned by the hotel and make change, cash checks, exchange foreign currency as needed
7. Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift...Missing hmm!
