Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor for the Hilton Milwaukee in downtown Milwaukee. This full-time, hourly role covers overnight shifts, handling front desk operations, balancing charges, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the next day.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Night Audit experience preferred, and availability on weekends. We offer meals, room discounts, parking, and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Night Audit experience is preferred.
• Overnight and Weekend availability is required.
• Ability to understand, follow, and effectively communicate both written & verbally in English.
• Thorough understanding of basic math and accounting skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions with little supervision and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk responsibilities to greet guests, process reservations, balance transactions, run audit reports, and take messages.
• Data entry and guest transactions on the front desk computer system using the PMS.
• Provide quality service for guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Take ownership of guest complaints and provide prompt solutions within scope of authority.
• Monitor front desk areas for safety, security, and appearance and report issues as necessary.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to assess room status for cleanliness and repairs.
• Maintain accurate cash control, cash drawer, and deposits according to policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
