Cedar Breaks Resort in Brian Head, UT seeks a PT Night Auditor to balance daily revenue, post transactions, and close daily books. The role functions as an overnight front desk agent, delivering exceptional guest service and accurate financial recordkeeping.

You will balance charges, reconcile with the general ledger, generate reports, and help with other Front Office duties while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout night shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Night Auditor position at Cedar Breaks Resort in Brian Head, UT is responsible for supervising the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the resort’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. It also serves as an overnight guest service agent.

What will you be doing?

• Follows audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions, identifies the causes of out‑of‑balance situations in a timely manner, produces various reports for management and takes initiative to correct errors to prevent reoccurrence.
• Ensures that all charges have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account, balanced with all supporting documentation.
• Reconciles all charges to the general ledger, prepares backup files and closes out shift and day on reservation system, including preparing the system for the next day of business.
• Generates housekeeping reports and prints folios departures.
• Compiles daily revenue reports and files work accordingly.
• Responsible for accurate management of cash funds and daily shift deposits.
• Assists with other Front Office duties.
• Calculates account balance at month‑end and submits to accounting.
• Processes reservation advance deposits from receipt of reservation information to depositing and logging all monies.
• Performs all Front Desk duties including check‑in, check‑out and cashier procedures in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Assists with guests and owner needs and requests, always delivering outstanding hospitality.
• Assists with other departmental duties such as bell standing, answering phones, etc.
• Reports any unresolved problems with owners and guests to management.
• Types departments as needed and carries out other duties as assigned by management; responds to all guest requests to ensure client satisfaction; willing to "pitch‑in" and help co‑workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate.

• PT Night Audit Relief shifts 11:00pm–7:00am Saturdays and Sundays.

What are we looking for?

• High School diploma/GED
• 1 year of experience in a related field.
• 1 year of auditing experience.

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Associate’s degree/College Degree is a plus
• VOICE Certified or Resort Data Processing (RDP)
• 3‑5 years of related experience
