• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotel.
• Verify customers' credit card, establish as payment method and obtain deposits/IDs as needed.
• Keep records of room availability and guest accounts manually or by computer.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Balance cash accounts and perform simple booking activities.
• Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms.
• Review accounts and charges with guests during checkout.
• Post charges for rooms, F&B, and other services.
• Transmit and receive messages via telephone, cell phone, or radio.
• Coordinate with appropriate departments for guest requests or needs.
• Monitor alarm panel and dispatch alerts to security or on-call management.
