Job summary

Hyatt Place Sacramento/Roseville is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations in Roseville, CA. You will balance daily transactions, generate nightly reports, and assist guests on check-ins and late inquiries during the 11 PM–7 AM shift.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration with other departments to maintain seamless overnight service and flawless reporting. Prior hospitality experience preferred, with hotel systems proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field is recommended.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests during the overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM) with warmth and efficiency.
• Balance the books, finalize transactions, and prepare accurate nightly reports.
• Conduct regular security walks to maintain guest safety and create a calm environment.
• Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management insights from the night shift.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Utilize Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing tools to resolve issues and document results.

• Master of Midnight Math: Own the Night Audit! Balance the books, finalize transactions, and make sure every number is in its perfect place. Detail lovers, this is your time to shine.
• Guardian of the Glow-Up: Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You're the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy.
• The Nightly Newsroom: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping.
• Teamwork After Twilight: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top-notch - even in the wee hours.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: If you're fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you've got a knack for solving problems solo—you'll fit right in.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
