Job summary

Hyatt Place Sacramento/Roseville is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations from 11 PM to 7 AM. Greet guests warmly, handle check-ins and late-night inquiries, and balance cash and transactions with meticulous attention to detail.

You will generate nightly reports, including the Daily Flash Report, coordinate with other departments to keep operations smooth, and use Windows, Excel, and word processing tools to resolve issues during the night shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in hotel or related field.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly during overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM) and handle check-ins/reservations.
• Balance the books and finalize transactions with accuracy.
• Conduct regular security walks to ensure guest safety and peace of mind.

• Guardian of the Glow-Up: Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You’re the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy.
• The Nightly Newsroom: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping.
• Teamwork After Twilight: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top‑notch—even in the wee hours.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: If you’re fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you’ve got a knack for solving problems solo—you’ll fit right in.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
