Description

Located on the water in Port Charlotte, Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor offers a breezy Florida resort experience with stunning accommodations, including Premium Guest Rooms and Signature Sunsuites with designer furnishings, beautiful views of Charlotte Harbor and the Peace River, and spacious areas for relaxation.

The Night Auditor is responsible for preparing and completing all Night Audit work, managing front office operations during the overnight shift, registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, handling check-in/check-out processes, balancing transactions, and maintaining Sunseeker standards and policies.

All duties are performed according to department and resort policies, practices, and procedures.

Job Duties

• Conduct night audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions and generating reports for management.
• Balance and audit all room tax charges, cashier reports, and guest accounts for accuracy.
• Administer guest payment policies and review errors from the day shifts.
• Be familiar with all hotel emergency procedures.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs and ensure smooth operations during the night shift.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Monitor the property and respond to security or safety issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Perform Front Office Ambassador duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Front Office/Night Audit experience.
• Experience with Forbes Star, AAA, and Four Diamond standards is a plus.
