Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor for the Intercontinental New Orleans location. You will reconcile daily revenue, balance cash, and prepare reports while ensuring guest satisfaction during overnight hours.

The role requires strong numerical skills and the ability to operate front desk and PBX systems. The incumbent will act as Guest Service representative and Manager on Duty overnight, supporting continuity between shifts and contributing to a welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audit procedures per hotel and company standards.
• Balance and reconcile cash receipts and deposits.
• Prepare daily revenue reports and variance analyses.
• Reconcile and reset front office systems for the next business day.
• Serve as Guest Service representative and Manager on Duty overnight.
• Operate the PBX system during the audit shift.
• Participate in front office meetings and training.
• Greet guests with a welcoming and professional demeanor.

Job description

The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy and guest satisfaction during overnight hours. This position reconciles daily revenue, prepares reports, and serves as the point of contact for guest services, maintaining operational continuity between shifts.

HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

• Conduct daily audit procedures in compliance with hotel and company standards.
• Verify and follow up on wake-up call requests.
• Balance and reconcile cash receipts and transactions, ensuring timely deposits.
• Reset front office systems and operations for the upcoming business day.
• Serve as Guest Service representative and Manager on Duty overnight.
• Operate the PBX system during the audit shift.
• Participate actively in front office meetings and training sessions.
• Greet and assist guests with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Other duties as assigned.
