Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure every transaction and ledger is accurate by sunrise, acting as the financial backbone of the hotel. The role combines audit duties with front desk duties for late-arriving guests in downtown Nashville.
The position emphasizes attention to detail, comfort with figures, and efficient use of office software and cash handling, with opportunities for advancement within Chartwell Hospitality.
While Nashville sleeps, the Music City never truly goes quiet — and neither does the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View. Just steps from the neon glow of Broadway and the legendary stages where tomorrow’s stars are discovered tonight, our hotel keeps watch over weary travelers, road-worn musicians, and dreamers chasing their big break. We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye, a steady hand, and a quiet confidence to be the guardian of our numbers and the calm, capable presence our guests rely on after midnight.
This is more than a night shift. It’s a launching pad.
As Night Auditor, you’ll hold a position of trust and precision — the one professional who ensures every transaction, every ledger, and every dollar tells an accurate story by sunrise. You’ll be the financial backbone of the operation while Nashville’s downtown hums quietly outside our doors, and you’ll gain a front-row seat to the inner workings of hotel management — knowledge that opens doors to advancement with Chartwell Hospitality.
A high school education or equivalent experience is required; a background in accounting is preferred but not essential. Success in this role calls for sharp attention to detail, comfort with figures, and confidence operating office equipment and software, including a cash register. Clear, courteous communication — by phone and in person — is essential, as is the ability to occasionally lift luggage up to fifty pounds.
Our downtown location places you within walking distance of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Auditorium, and the pulse of a city built on hospitality and hard work. Working nights here means being part of the quiet machinery that keeps the Music City’s most iconic hotel running smoothly — a role that rewards discipline with real opportunity.
