Job summary

Hyatt Place Raleigh-Durham Airport is seeking a dependable Night Auditor to join our front office team. You will be the overnight point of contact for guests, balance the day’s transactions, and complete the nightly audit to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary guest contact during overnight hours (check-ins/outs).
• Balance and reconcile daily transactions and run end-of-day reports.
• Complete nightly audit and roll over to next business day.
• Prepare daily financial summaries and deposits for accounting.
• Monitor security, respond to alarms, and conduct walk-throughs.
• Handle reservations, phone inquiries, late arrivals or no-shows.
• Prepare breakfast service areas and assist with morning setup.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and requests
• Balance and reconcile the day's transactions, post charges, and run end-of-day reports
• Complete the nightly audit and roll the system over to the next business day
• Prepare daily financial summaries and deposits for the accounting team
• Monitor property security, respond to alarms or incidents, and complete regular walk-throughs
• Handle reservations, phone inquiries, and late arrivals or no-shows
• Prepare breakfast service areas and assist with light morning setup as needed
• Document shift notes and communicate any issues to the incoming morning team
