A leading luxury hotel is seeking a dedicated Guest Service Agent to ensure exceptional experiences for guests. Responsibilities include managing check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest inquiries, and coordinating with various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to service excellence. Join a team that values creativity and compassion, providing memorable stays for guests.
Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Handle various payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Manage check-outs, resolving any late or disputed charges. Respond to, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Provide guests with directions and information about the property and local attractions. Run daily reports on arrivals and departures, identify special requests, and verify report accuracy. Complete cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash personal checks and traveler's checks, count bank at shift start and end, and balance and deposit receipts following accounting standards.
Adhere to all safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions. Follow company policies on appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection. Greet and acknowledge guests, anticipate and fulfill service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate professionally by phone and in person. Develop positive working relationships, meet quality standards, and perform duties such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
