Job summary

InnVentures' Residence Inn Palo Alto Los Altos is seeking a Night Auditor to work overnight shifts, supervise the hotel, and ensure that daily transactions are reconciled for a comfortable guest stay.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable cash handling, and clear communication with all departments; benefits include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, PTO, a 401(k), and daily pay eligibility. Weekend/holiday availability and ability to lift up to 25 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience with proven ability to thrive working the overnight shift.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must stand for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Review daily transactions and checklists for completion and accuracy.
• Ensure all guests are served promptly and courteously.
• Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and post/reconcile charges to guest receipts.
• Ensure emergency notification procedures are followed overnight.
• Communicate effectively between all shifts and departments.

Overview

Use your attention to detail and desire for routine to create memorable guest experiences!As a Night Auditor, you will work overnight (graveyard) hours to supervise the hotel and perform tasks to certify that all daily transactions are reconciled. Your contributions as a Night Auditor are essential to provide our guests a comfortable stay.
