Description

The Night Auditor is responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. During these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, reservations, and answering inquiries.

• Proactive thinking, prioritizing guest security, and maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
• Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
• Checking the front desk log for issues or special requests.
• Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
• Processing guest registrations and payments.
• Preparing express checkout folios.
• Maintaining room status inventory.
• Communicating shift information to relevant staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the lobby and bathroom as needed.
• Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Answering guest inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Completing shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
