An established industry player is seeking a Night Auditor to join their team in Knoxville. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth nightly operations, balancing audit duties while delivering exceptional guest service. The Night Auditor will manage cash handling, prepare shift reports, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests. The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. During these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and answering guest questions.
The role requires proactive thinking, maintaining guest security, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment. The Night Auditor is responsible for counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift. Additional duties include checking the front desk log for issues, greeting and registering guests, assigning rooms, processing payments, preparing express checkout folios, maintaining room status inventory, and communicating shift information to relevant staff.
The position also involves maintaining cleanliness of the lobby and bathroom, working closely with hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service, answering inquiries about hotel services, and completing all shift paperwork and reports daily. Other duties may be assigned by management.
