Fairfield Inn Huntsville is seeking a Night Auditor to join our front desk team. The role involves cheerful guest check-in/out, accurate transaction processing, and ensuring end-of-day close procedures with proper handover to the next shift.

The position requires knowledge of the Property Management System and the ability to learn it quickly. Candidate should be comfortable handling cash and maintaining a clean lobby area, including breakfast setup as needed.

Formación

• Prior hotel experience is a plus.
• Must be able to learn and be proficient in the hotel’s Property Management System.

Responsabilidades

• Check guests in and out cheerfully, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Balance close of day procedures and hand over to the next shift.
• Record and confirm reservations; monitor status daily and ahead.
• Handle cash drawer and transactions per brand policy.
• Close daily books and credit card batches as required.
• Review daily sales for issues and report to GM.
• Enter sales and revenue into the accounting system.
• Maintain lobby area and ensure coffee setup for breakfast.

Overview:

We currently have an opening for a Night Auditor. Team players who are looking to join a dynamic environment are encouraged to apply.

Key attributes and responsibilities of the position include:

• Checks guests in and out in a cheerful, friendly manner, maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements and company standards
• Ensures accurate processing of charges and completes/balances close of day procedures with full handover to next shift
• Takes and records reservations accurately and confirms as requested; knows status of reservations on a daily and future basis
• Observes safe cash handling procedures required by brand and company policy and is responsible for the cash drawer, cash, and credit card information transactions for their shift
• Completes all company and brand required closing of daily books and credit card batch
• Reviews all daily sales for any issues, high balance accounts or comp rooms and alerts the General Manager as needed
• Enters all sales and revenue data into company accounting system
• Sets up/maintains fresh coffee in the lobby area. Helps keep the area stocked, clean, and organized
• Maintains a clean and organized lobby and front desk area
• Sets up and opens the continental breakfast for breakfast personnel

Qualifications:

• Prior hotel experience a plus!
• Must have the ability to learn and be proficient in the Property Management System of the hotel
