The Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work. Responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift (Typically 11pm-7am). Primary responsibilities include: registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks.

Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve guest issues and respond to emergencies.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Effective communication skills to convey information clearly.
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
- Effective problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems.
- Ability to assimilate complex information from various sources and adapt accordingly.
- Understanding of financial data and basic arithmetic functions.
- Self-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective listening and interpersonal skills to understand and clarify concerns.
- Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Approach all guest and associate interactions with friendliness and a service-oriented attitude.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with hotel standards and scheduling needs.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
- Comply with all hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
- Run required reports for Food and Beverage audits.
- Complete the Night Audit checklist and balance the day's work.
- Maintain cashiering responsibilities and Front Office computer system operations.
- Perform all Front Office functions during the overnight shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.).
- Ensure security checks and guest requests are handled promptly.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures.
- Maintain proper record keeping as per standards.
- Complete direct bills and attach backup documentation.
- Maintain radio contact with team members.
- Ensure staff are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports and transfer accounts as needed.
- Train new Night Auditors as requested.
- Handle miscellaneous duties including reports, resets, and revenue summaries.
- Assist with guest food orders and service as needed, demonstrating professionalism.
- Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
