Job description

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that they are not already in house.
  2. Ensure that rooms (day use) are listed in the computer as dirty to facilitate housekeeping.
  3. Explain and provide promotional items to each guest checking in.
  4. Explain hotel amenities such as free breakfast, spa, fitness center, voice mail, etc., to guests.
  5. Document new commercial customers checking in for potential account creation.
  6. Inquire about blocked rooms and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues.
  7. Ensure rollaway beds and cribs are correctly recorded in the computer.
  8. Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints and offer alternative solutions if needed.
  9. Cover other hotel areas as required.
  10. Document guest accidents with an accident report form.
  11. Complete maintenance logs for reported complaints.
  12. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all front desk areas.
  13. Greet guests warmly and proactively.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
