Rainmaker Team LLC is seeking a Night Auditor for a Hyatt Place branded property in Kentucky. The role oversees overnight hotel operations, ensures accurate daily financial reporting, and delivers warm, professional guest service in line with Hyatt Place standards.
Schedule includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights with occasional weekday shifts. Duties span front desk tasks, revenue balancing, audit reporting, safety checks, and light overnight maintenance as needed.
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during overnight hours, ensuring accuracy in daily financial reporting, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. This role supports both front‑desk responsibilities and accounting functions in alignment with Hyatt Place brand standards.
Scheduled Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
Additional Shifts: Occasional weekday coverage as needed based on business levels and staffing requirements
Provide warm, professional service to all guests during overnight hours.
Complete check‑ins, check‑outs, room assignments, and payment processing.
Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly; elevate issues to the MOD when appropriate.
Monitor property security, guest safety, and overnight activity.
Balance and reconcile daily revenue, folios, and payment reports.
Verify and post charges, adjustments, and corrections.
Prepare and distribute required audit reports for management review.
Ensure accuracy in financial documentation and compliance with Hyatt accounting procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Gallery, lobby, and front desk areas.
Assist with light breakfast setup tasks when needed before morning shift arrival.
Complete overnight housekeeping or maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., laundry, stocking supplies).
Report any safety, maintenance, or security concerns promptly.
Follow all Hyatt Place policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Communicate effectively with incoming morning staff to ensure smooth shift transitions.
Support a positive team environment and uphold Hyatt’s commitment to care and hospitality.
Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and comfort with basic accounting or reconciliation tasks.
Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and occasional weekdays.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Familiarity with hotel PMS systems preferred (training provided).
