Job summary

Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL invites applications for a Full-Time Night Auditor responsible for reconciling daily revenue, posting room charges and taxes, and balancing transactions in the property management and POS systems.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong English communication, good math and accounting software knowledge, and willingness to work overnight shifts from 12 AM to 8 AM; prior hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Thorough knowledge of computer processing system and ability to manually perform these operations if necessary.
• Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
• Must be able to handle a high workload volume with organization and control.
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities as well as the surrounding area.
• Ability to solve problems and make rational decision.
• Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer.

Responsibilities

• Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
• Verifies all account postings and balances
• Run end of day process in property management software PMS and POS systems.
• Balance credit card transactions and process credit card batches.
• Monitors the current status of gift card, discount, and other promotional programs.
• Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts
• Provide next day reports to Accounting, Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales and Executive office as required.
• Reconcile and complete all daily cash handler’s drops vs. system cash called for.
• Perform duties of front desk agent as assigned.
