Job summary

Marriott Tampa Westshore is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk duties, guest services, and accounting tasks to ensure accurate revenue reporting. The role includes balancing charges, posting room rates, and preparing the nightly flash report.

The position requires a high school diploma (hospitality degree preferred), strong communication skills, and the ability to work 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Prior PMS experience and night audit exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred.
• Experience in hotel or customer service is preferred.
• Experience with hotel PMS and nightly room-rate analysis (RRA) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures.
• Address and resolve guest concerns, issues, or inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions to guests.
• Monitor guest arrivals and departures during the shift.
• Perform end-of-day procedures and balance hotel revenue.
• Review and post guest charges and room rates in the PMS.
• Complete the nightly Room Rate Analysis (RRA) and ensure pricing aligns with strategy.
• Prepare the flash report summarizing revenue across departments.
• Reconcile cash drawers, credit card transactions, and check-outs.
• Conduct a night walk to ensure security and report issues.
