Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Night Audit professional to perform end-of-day procedures for the hotel guest services area and verify daily activity. You will audit cash and room revenue, balance and report discrepancies, and ensure accurate postings of daily revenues.

Responsibilities include reconciling cashier’s records, posting to front desk accounts, and generating nightly financial reports. A high school diploma and cash-handling experience are required, with hospitality experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Six to twelve months of employment in related position or office setting with this company or other organization.
• Accounting or hospitality experience a bonus.
• Requires having excellent computer and cash handling skills, ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance and report cash and credit operations for restaurant, lounge, banquets and room service.
• Reconcile cashier’s reports with the restaurant system nightly.
• Maintain and post daily balances of house accounts and room information.
• Prepare statistics and income journals for daily reports and close bank ticket codes.
