Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Fairburn, GA is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations, balance daily ledgers, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will upsell services, handle check-ins/check-outs, and maintain security and accuracy of the nightly financials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Minimum 6 months related experience or training.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.
• Ability to work overnight hours (10–11 pm start) and stay alert.
• Capable of independent work and teamwork as needed.

Responsibilities

• Balance accounts from day shift.
• Welcome guests on arrival and assign rooms.
• Manage front desk activity and guest check-ins/outs.
• Inform guests about payment methods and verify IDs.
• Register guest details and stay dates.
• Coordinate wake-up calls and guest requests.
• Respond to guest complaints professionally.
• Create invoices and process payments.
• Maintain and update documentation for the role.
• Ensure end-of-day procedures are completed.
• Answer inquiries about bookings and rates.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized experiences.
• Keep up with hotel standards and policies.
• Run nightly audit and post daily financials.
