Cornell University’s Statler Hotel is seeking a Night Auditor to join the overnight team in Ithaca, NY. You will register guests, handle check-ins/outs, assist with requests, and verify daily revenue in the PMS and Excel.

The role reports to the overnight shift from 11pm to 7:30am, supporting front desk operations and nightly audits. The position emphasizes guest service, accurate financial reconciliation, safety, and collaboration with student and overnight staff to maintain exceptional

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in customer service or hospitality role.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional guest service by managing front desk operations, guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries.
• Handle cash transactions, room assignments, switchboard operations, and other front office functions accurately and professionally.
• Perform nightly audit and financial reconciliation processes, including revenue postings, report generation, and system updates.
• Monitor hotel safety and security during overnight hours, responding to emergencies and documenting incidents as required.
• Prepare and distribute daily operational and management reports, communicating overnight activities and discrepancies to relevant departments.
• Support, train, and provide guidance to student and overnight staff while ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
• Serve as backup Night Manager and assist with overnight operational needs to ensure smooth hotel operations.
