The Wallhouse Hotel in Walnut Creek, Ohio is hiring a Front Desk Clerk to join our award-winning team. We seek friendly associates dedicated to guest satisfaction and professional service at the front desk.

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will greet guests, handle check-in/out, balance cash, process payments, answer phones, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure a flawless guest experience. Training and a team-oriented environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to hotel guests.
• Balance cash and reconcile credit card transactions.
• Answer phones and assist guests with requests.
• Check-in and check-out procedures and update reservations in the system.
• Maintain front desk area, logs, and balance cash drawer.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
• Sell rooms to walk-in guests and manage reservations in the system.
• Post charges to guest accounts and process guest payments.
• Inform housekeeping of room changes and coordinate with staff.
• Respond to guest complaints and transfer calls as needed.
• Complete daily checklists and maintain logs.
