The Wallhouse Hotel in Walnut Creek, Ohio is hiring a Front Desk Clerk to join our award-winning team. We seek friendly associates dedicated to guest satisfaction and professional service at the front desk.

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will greet guests, handle check-in/out, balance cash, process payments, answer phones, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure a flawless guest experience. Training and a team-oriented environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to hotel guests.
• Balance cash and reconcile credit card transactions.
• Answer phones and assist guests with requests.
• Check-in and check-out procedures and update reservations in the system.
• Maintain front desk area, logs, and balance cash drawer.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Sell rooms to walk-in guests and manage reservations in the system.

About the Hotel: The Wallhouse Hotel located in Walnut Creek, Ohio.

Job Description: Provide excellent customer service to all guest of the hotel, check -in and check- out procedures, balancing cash, reconcile credit cards, answering the phone, attend to the needs of the guest.

Essential Job Functions: Be in required uniform, name tag, and ear piece. Greet all guests. Providing information to guest about policies, services, and ammenties. Respond to guest requests, selling rooms to walk-in guests, entering / changing reservations in the system, posting charges to guest accounts, processing payments from guests, making necessary changes to guest accounts, informing housekeeping of any room changes, etc. Listening and responding to the needs of the guest. Responding to guest complaints, answering the phone, transfering calls, cleaning of the front desk area and the surrounding area, completing checklists, maintaining daily logs, balancing cash drawer, must be able to stand for an 8 hour shift.

Additional Responsibilities: Attitude must be conductive to team growth, hospitality, and serving environment. Must be willing to complete hospitality training, and education of the hospitality industry, and any other duties given by the supervisor, or general manager.

Knowledge of Choice Advantage is preferre but not required.
