Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Bloomington–Mall of America is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Front Desk Agent/ Part Time Night Auditor to join our team. This role focuses on creating a welcoming experience for guests while ensuring accurate overnight financial reporting and smooth hotel operations.

The ideal candidate will have previous front desk or night audit experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently and handling financial transactions.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Basic computer skills; Hilton systems experience is a plus.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Complete check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and payment processing.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Perform nightly audit procedures and balance daily transactions.
• Prepare and distribute financial and operational reports.
• Monitor hotel activity and assist with guest safety and security.
• Communicate important information to hotel leadership and incoming shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
