Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, FL is seeking an experienced Night Auditor to join our team. The role involves overnight guest service, check-ins/outs, and nightly reconciliation of accounts.

Responsibilities include handling calls, producing daily reports, and ensuring accuracy of charges and rates. The position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk and night audit preferred.
• Ability to manage cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, perform check-in and review charges at checkout.

Description

Sundial Beach Resort & Spa, located on sunny Sanibel Island, is looking for an experienced Night Auditor to join our team.

Essential Functions

• To provide outstanding guest satisfaction by greeting all guests, performing quick and efficient check-in procedures and well as reviewing charges with guests during the check-out process
• Manage all incoming calls in a polite and professional manner and provide the guests with the requested information pertaining to hotel services and amenities
• To produce accurate and timely reports and correctly manage all cash transactions
• To complete all remaining credit card transactions (rm/tx/rfee) for that day's arrivals; transmit credit card batches
• Verify correct room rates are posted, run all steps of Night Audit procedures to end the day, maintain printouts and disperse daily reports to management
• Transfer charges to appropriate accounts
• Night Auditor works with evening security to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests, deals with incidents and guest's needs during the overnight, and reports necessary issues to management. Responds to complaints from guests with the assistance of the Safety department about noise, room conditions, housekeeping needs and various other types of requests.
• Assist rooms control individual with wholesale requests, in-house reservations, rooming and any other related requests, coding, and rate issues,
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to details, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications including PMS – System and MS Office
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of times (up to 8 hours)
• Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards and procedures of the department
• Available for work assignments outside of associate’s customary work schedule. This may include evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.
