Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is seeking a full-time Night Auditor to oversee nightly accounting duties and front desk operations. The role calls for balancing the day’s receipts, generating nightly reports, and ensuring smooth overnight handling of guest requests.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be eligible to work in the USA, and ready to work a mid-night shift with attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Work permit and legal eligibility to be employed in the USA.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles is helpful.
• Must be able to problem-solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to emergency situations.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

• Maintain proper record keeping per company standards.
• Be familiar with all company policies and house rules.
• Maintain radio contact with staff during shift.
• Have working knowledge of security procedures.
• Ensure employees are attentive, helpful, and courteous.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.

Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is looking for a full-time Night Auditor.

What You Will Be Doing

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
• Comply at all times with company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
• Run all reports as required for the Food and Beverage audit.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
• Balance the day’s work (i.e., movie revenue, telephone postings, valet laundry, server’s and desk agent’s paperwork, etc.).
• Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per front office procedures and according to company standards.
• Maintain front office computer system operation according to company standards.
• Fulfill all Front Office functions between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Handle and follow through on all guest requests daily from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures according to hotel standards.
• Maintain proper record keeping (i.e., logbooks, etc.) according to company standards.
• Be familiar with all company policies and house rules.
• Maintain radio contact with other employees during the entire shift.
• Have a working knowledge of security procedures.
• Ensure employees are at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.

Education & Experience
