Premier Ambulance in Brea, CA seeks reliable Ambulance Night Dispatchers to coordinate emergency and non-emergency ambulance services overnight. You will use CAD/dispatch systems to send units and keep hospitals informed.

Ideal candidates have ambulance, 911 dispatch, or EMT experience, and can stay calm under pressure while delivering accurate documentation and timely communication in a fast-paced center.

Qualifications

• Ambulance (EMS) or public safety dispatch experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Must be dependable and punctual for overnight shifts.
• Basic computer proficiency; typing speed around 1 year preferred.
• Must have or obtain EMDR certification or EMT license when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch ambulances efficiently using CAD/dispatch systems.
• Answer high-volume emergency and non-emergency calls professionally.
• Communicate clearly with EMTs, paramedics, hospitals and staff.
• Track unit status and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prioritize calls based on urgency and protocols.
• Maintain calm, clear communication in high-pressure situations.
• Follow company policies, HIPAA, and safety regulations.
