Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is looking for a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Bridgeport, AL to manage access points, verify credentials, and provide outstanding customer service.

The full-time position in Bridgeport involves patrolling, monitoring alarms and cameras, and supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screens may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating as needed according to procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, and cameras, document observations, and report issues to site leadership.
