Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Control Driver in Cromwell, KY to manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitors, and maintain a welcoming environment at a food and beverage location. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work a staggered schedule.

You will provide customer service, monitor access points, respond calmly to incidents, and follow site procedures while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility,

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Capable of using a computer or tablet for access-control tasks.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen per policy.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a food and beverage production location, verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit, following established procedures for deliveries, contractors, and authorized personnel.
