Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Operations in Carlisle, PA. You will safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and deliver outstanding customer service to employees and visitors.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access for the location by checking credentials and entry documentation.
• Manage visitor, contractor, and driver access and direct to check-in areas.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
