Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Authorization at Newville, PA. You will safeguard clients across Logistics & Distribution and related settings, managing entry points, credentials, and visitor/vehicle access.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Background check required by state and federal laws
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and control entry and exit for personnel, visitors and vehicles
• Maintain accurate access-control records and incident documentation per site procedures
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate information to site contacts and leadership
• Conduct regular patrols of designated access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter monitoring for unusual activity
