Job summary

Allied Universal in Sulphur, LA is seeking a Security Officer – Full Time Entry Control Driver to safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide exceptional customer service while using technology to document activity.

You must have a valid driver's license, at least 1 year in law enforcement or 3 years security experience, and be at least 18 (21 for armed roles).

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in the state of the job.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors per site access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and issue visitor passes.
• Screen vehicles and deliveries and escalate discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following reporting and protocols.
• Conduct patrols to identify security concerns.
