Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Management Driver in Sulphur, LA. You will safeguard a chemical/petrochemical site, manage entry points, verify credentials, and support badge-related processes while delivering exceptional customer service and using technology to document activity.

The role entails monitoring access, logging visits, and responding to incidents with calm professionalism.

Qualifications

• Has a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement or 2 years security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, assigned areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access-control documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
