Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider in North America, seeks a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Sulphur, LA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access systems, and support a secure environment at a chemical/petrochemical site while delivering dependable customer service.

This full-time, hourly role requires a valid driver’s license and background check, with schedule including multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license in the job location.
• 1+ year of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Background investigation and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical/petrochemical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, reviewing visitor and contractor authorizations, issuing access documentation, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Operate access control systems, cameras, communication equipment, and alarm-related systems in accordance with post orders and established procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, perimeter areas, and assigned facility locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
