Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders. The role includes consulting on therapy effectiveness and serving as a resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Qualified candidates hold a NBRC RRT credential, meet Kansas licensure requirements, and are graduates of a CoARC-approved program. ACLS/PALS may be required for ER, with opportunities for growth within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBRC RRT credential.
• RCP license in the state of practice (Kansas).
• CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program graduate.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
