Adventist HealthCare in Rockville, MD is seeking a part-time RN for the NICU to provide high-quality patient care and learn from experienced nurses. This role offers two 12-hour night shifts per week and emphasizes education, mentorship, and evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active Maryland license, BLS, and NICU-NRP certification, plus a minimum of 1 year RN experience. Join a team focused on growth and compassionate care.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• NRP certification required for NICU.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Use equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties appropriately.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence.
