Job summary

Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital in Utah is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our NICU-focused team. This full-time, nights role covers 36 hours per week, delivering high‑quality care to neonates and families with advanced monitoring and interventions.

You will collaborate with a dedicated neonatal team, apply evidence-based practice, and participate in lactation support, ventilator care, and resuscitation as needed.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• BSN required or willing to obtain within four (4) years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: Directs care delivery and coordinates with the care team to execute the plan.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the plan as indicated.
• Professionalism: Maintains ethical standards, documentation accuracy, and licensure compliance.
