Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking an experienced NICU nurse to assess patients, design individualized care plans, and administer treatments within a collaborative team. The role emphasizes safety, education for families, and consistent documentation to support patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s in Nursing with RN license and BLS/NRP certifications, with at least 1 year in NICU settings. This is a full-time on-site position at the Winter Park campus.

Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing is required.
1+ years' NICU nursing experience.
RN license and BLS/NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Create and update individualized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Coordinate care with medical staff to ensure effective teamwork.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
