Baptist Health’s Wolfson Children’s Hospital NICU team is hiring a Registered Nurse for the NICU on a PRN night shift. You will provide comprehensive neonatal care, including assessment, treatment, and family involvement within a high-acuity setting.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, and ongoing participation in unit activities. An RN with NICU experience and Florida licensure is required, with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BSN required for NICU nursing.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in Florida.
• Experience in NICU or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to neonatal population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process
• Administer medications per hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with others
• Including patients and families in developing and individualized plan of care
• Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for providing care for critical patients that require a higher acuity of care
• Uphold the hospital mission statement
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
